Kateeva's Innovation Journey
Like many before us, our “Innovation Journey” began in a research lab. For us it was MIT. That’s where our co-founders Conor Madigan, Gerry Chen and Valerie Gassend combined their passion for invention with a conviction that they could innovate a technology solution that would enable the production of a new class of thin and flexible flat panel displays offering remarkable color quality.
Ten years on and our inkjet deposition production equipment is the leading platform for organic thin film encapsulation used in OLED display manufacturing, producing flexible OLED panels for mobile devices. Today, our proprietary inkjet deposition systems have been used in the manufacture of the OLED displays that we believe have been incorporated into millions of smartphones. Now, we’re developing the same core technology to help enable large-size OLED displays, such as OLED TVs.
